The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions between James Hale Ltd, Nick Littlehales and or sportsleepcoach (.com) Any service or product order placement directly or indirectly indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Delivery procedures & costs


FREE UK mainland delivery*

*For orders of £75 and over to a single address in the UK mainland, delivery is free, orders under £75 we charge a standard rate of £7.95 per order or item for each delivery address.


Saturday UK delivery can be arranged if you advice us on the order or contact us once you have placed your order and we will confirm the next available date of dispatch. A surcharge for this service may apply.


All orders will be shipped, within 7/14 days via parcel carrier or reputable courier services. (Excludes Sunday and Bank Holidays.) Once dispatched we will notify you by email your unique parcel tracking reference number.


If you are not in the day of delivery a card will be left informing you of another redelivery day or to enable you to contact the local carrier delivery depot to reschedule at a convenient time to you – and at no extra cost.


All goods must be signed for and checked at the time of delivery. Any damage must be reported at the time of delivery and no claims for damages can be made after 24 hours from receiving your item. A signature will constitute acceptance of the goods received our procedure accepted and thereafter you will be responsible for the care of your goods.


International orders

For all orders outside the UK please contact us in advance of placing your order and we will provide a best non profit shipping quote.



UK Offshore, Northern Ireland & Ireland deliveries a £30 surcharge

Germany and Holland a £35 surcharge

Rest of the EU a £50 surcharge

Rest of the World delivery times and costs will vary as they are dependent on the size of the parcel, rather than the weight.


Payment methods

All orders are payable in full before dispatch and deemed non refundable. Orders will only be dispatched to a valid email or postal address.


Nick Littlehales sportsleepcoach will continue to own and reserve the right to repossess any goods sold under contract until payment has been received in full. Interest is chargeable on unpaid balances.


The total price payable for the goods will be debited from your account at the time you place your order. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier’s prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.


All product prices listed include VAT (Value Added Tax) where applicable at the new UK standard rate of 20% from 4th January 2011.


All PayPal transactions, bank transfers are subject to validation checks and authorization by the issuer. If the issuer of your payment refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorize payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.


You may also pay by cheque although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 10 working days (does not include weekend or bank holidays).


All our on-line payments are processed using PayPal the secure on-line payment system. If you don’t have a PayPal account they are easy to set up and very useful for making other purchases. www.paypal.com


Alternatively we process orders via credit/debit card over the phone or via a direct bank transfer. All you have to do is contact us and we will send you an invoice by return with your order and our payment details.


Returns & Refunds


A payment is required when returning a product.


If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must inform us immediately and we will either replace the goods at no extra charge or offer a refund.


In accordance with ‘Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations’ and ‘The Sale Of Goods Act’ any mattress order may be cancelled up to 7 working days from the day after goods have been delivered. We will provide you with new packaging where applicable and refund the total value of the order less our mandatory £50 returns fee.


Order Acceptance Policy

On the dispatch of the products ordered to you order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place – unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our cancellation policy.


Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of lack of authorization, identification of a pricing or product description error or you not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out below:


You must:


• Be 18 years old or older on the day of the order


• Have an active PayPal account – A bank account number and sort code


• A UK delivery address & postcode. PO Box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable


By making a purchase, you inadvertently authorize us to transmit or obtain information about you from third parties from time to time including, but not limited to, your debit or credit card number or credit reports to authenticate your identity, validate your credit card, obtain an initial credit card authorization and to authorise individual purchase transactions.


In the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering.



All mattresses carry a minimum 5 year manufacturer warranty on the foam and 2 years on the cover. The life expectancy with normal usage is 10 years. Please print off your invoice and retain as proof of purchase as this constitutes the warranty.



Sport sleep coach services & products are neither a medical device nor medical program and not intended for the diagnosis or treatment of sleep disorders. We always advise to consult a physician or clinic.

Voucher codes

Coupon voucher codes can only be redeemed at www.sportsleepcoach.com or directly over the phone with prior agreement. The coupon voucher must be registered at the time of purchase by entering the unique code in the check out. The promotional code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotional code. Voucher codes have no cash value.


Delivery & shipping charges always apply and are not covered by any voucher coupon or promotion (please see our shipping terms and conditions).


Promotional voucher codes cannot be used retrospectively i.e. applied to orders already placed with us. Please refer to your promotional voucher code for the expiry date and or our web site for any additional offer restrictions. We reserve the right to withdraw any promotional voucher codes at anytime.

Installation guidelines


R90 sportsmatt & Topper installation guidelines 2017

R90 mattresses and toppers are roll packed and boxed to ensure our climate footprint is as low as we can make it (at the moment). This process also ensures our customers can store the product easily prior to installation and install into the room of choice easier than any standard full size heavily upholstered products.


This is only achievable because of the technology we have available and the high level materials used to manufacture our products.


Once unboxed and carefully unwrapped the mattress will assume its specified dimensions and shape in approximately 1-2 hours.


At this point it cannot be re-rolled packed.


The nature of the materials and packing process can trap manufacturing odours which maybe be noticeable at this point. So we advise that this process is completed in an adequately aired room/environment, whether an odour is identified or not, as it also helps the product to reshape.


Irrespective of what time of day this process is completed, we advise that the following day the bedding is removed completely to allow the mattress to breathe and adapt to your normal room temperature.


The mattress core is designed with one sleeping surface (which is visible through the outer cover) a coolBlue foam layer with square castellated cut surface. There is no need to turn the mattress over (like a traditional mattress) but we advise it is rotated once a month or when required.


Rotating the mattress simply moves the hip and shoulder areas up and down the mattress, prolonging its life and more importantly maintaining the performance.


Making the most of your R90 sports mattress


We advise you encapsulate the mattress with a hypo-allergenic, machine washable mattress protector. These products absorb natural body perspiration during sleep (1 litre on average), trap dead skin scales and prevent any soiling entering the mattress cover and core.


A mattress protector is an important product ensuring you keep a fresh and hygienic sleeping environment, whilst protecting your investment and sleeping quality.


The R90 uses materials that are technically advanced from traditional fillings and specifically designed to sleep on and with. They unlock much higher levels of postural sensitivity and body comfort, combined with easy care, hypo-allergenic features, designed specifically for a 21st century sleeper. [Elite Athlete]


It can therefore be important to consider changing your pillows and duvet to suit the new mattress and unlock its full potential.E


Expert Sport Sleep Coach Advice:


Athletes should ideally have one shallow microfibre (man-made) pillow to sleep with, simply comforting the head and not raising it up, misaligning the neck vertebrae and in turn spine. LOWER TOG: Consider an all season microfibre combination duvet (9.0/4.5 Tog ratings). Overheating is one the most common sleep quality disrupter’s, a common problem with elite athletes.


Remove your bedding during the day, as often as you can, to allow the sports bedding and R90 sports mattress to breathe and air. Use fresh bed linen more often, a key trigger for a better night’s sleep and an improved athletic performance.
